FiberPatrol

FiberPatrol offers protection for fences, walls, buried applications, pipelines and data lines. For this purpose, laser light pulses are transmitted into a single-mode glass fibre, which precisely measures the light reflections. Any interference caused, for example, by fence vibration changes the amount of light returned. 

Detection capacities:

• Detects and localises intruders at the perimeter over distances of up to 80 km per processor
• Detection accuracy ±4m
• Precise detection as well as localisation of several simultaneous intrusion attempts
• Flexible software-based zone creation

Performance features:

• Supports practically all types of fences
• Even if the sensor cable is cut, detection continues right up to the point of breakage
• Reliably detects intruders even in the event of non-localised ambient noise
